Reditus Academy · Track 4 · Months 2 to 4
From clicks to revenue: the checklist
Read your program numbers in the right order, know when the first paid customer realistically lands, and tell a slow program from a dying one before month four.
Print it, or save it as a PDF, and work down it. Each step says how much counts as done. Full lessons at getreditus.com/academy/from-clicks-to-revenue
By the end of this track you have
- Clicks, signups and trials read per affiliate, weekly, in that orderRevenue is the last number to move. Reading it first tells you nothing for months.
- Your lag chain written down, with the month you expect the first paid customerTypically month five or six, earlier with a short trial and paid-ads partners, later with blog affiliates and a long trial.
- Your own concentration curve: which fifth of your active affiliates sends most of the revenueIn real programs the top 20% of active affiliates produce 80 to 87% of revenue. Yours will look the same.
- A verdict at month three, slow or dying, and the one change that followsA quietly dying program looks like a slow one until you check who was helped to earn.
Lesson 1
Read the click months: what to measure in months two and three, in order
Measure clicks, then signups, then trial quality by affiliate, judge ICP fit before volume, and stop watching revenue until the lag has had time to work.
- Set a weekly 15-minute review of clicks, signups and trials per affiliate, in that orderTarget: Weekly, from month twoMonths two and three are the click months. Revenue in this window is the exception; trial quality is the signal.
- Tag the affiliates whose trials look like your best customersTarget: ICP fit per affiliate, not volumeTen trials from the wrong audience are worth less than one from the right one.

Lesson 2
Understand the lag chain from click to paid, and when the first customer lands
Trace click to signup to trial to paid for your own trial length and recruiting style, and place the first paid customer on a realistic month, typically five to six, instead of a hopeful one.
- Write your lag chain down with your own trial length: click, signup, trial, paid, first payoutTarget: The month of the first paid customer, on paperThe timeline tool does this for your trial length and recruiting style. Typically month five or six.
Lesson 3
Accept the concentration reality: the top 20% of active affiliates produce 80 to 87% of revenue
Use the measured shape of three real programs (10,596 affiliate-months): the top fifth of active affiliates produce 80 to 87% of revenue, over 90% of affiliate-months produce no paid referral, and much revenue comes from affiliates who sent no clicks that month.
- Sort your active affiliates by revenue and mark the top fifthTarget: Your own top 20%They will carry 80 to 87% of the revenue. Everything in Track 5 is about them and about finding the next ones like them.
- Check which of last month's revenue came from affiliates who sent no clicksTarget: The recurring tail, as a shareQuiet is not dead. The tail is why recurring commissions exist.
Lesson 4
Diagnose a quietly dying program at month three, and copy what the recovering ones do
Recognise the pattern of a program dying quietly (clicks flat, nobody helped to earn, silence from the operator), separate it from a slow-but-alive one, and apply the moves that recovered programs share.
- Give the program a verdict at the end of month three: slow, or dying, with the evidenceTarget: One verdict, written downSlow means trials are arriving and the lag has not finished. Dying means nobody was helped to earn since approval.
- If dying, go back to Track 3 and do the first three lessons for real this timeTarget: Three lessons, redonePrograms that recover did not recruit harder. They asked, prepared and paid for the first action.
