How to create affiliate campaigns?

Campaigns let you reward affiliates with a one-off bonus for a specific action: creating a piece of content, or hitting a referral milestone within a time frame. The bonus comes on top of their regular recurring commission, which makes campaigns the fastest way to activate affiliates who joined your program but have not started promoting yet.

This article covers how campaigns work in Reditus and how to set one up. For the strategy side (what to ask for, how large to make bonuses, and why content campaigns also improve how often AI assistants recommend you), read our activation guide.

The two campaign types

Content: rewards for one-off content generation, like a social media post, blog article, or review. You define what must be created and the rules it must meet.

Performance bonus: a bonus offered on top of regular referrals provided via your affiliate program, for example reaching 5 paid referrals during the campaign window.

Private vs public campaigns

Private: only affiliates already in your program see the campaign. Use this to activate your existing affiliates.

Public: all affiliates in the Reditus network see the campaign, and it becomes a way to receive new affiliate requests. Campaigns are available on every plan; public campaigns are part of Scale Up and up (see pricing).

Creating a campaign

Go to the Campaigns menu and click "New campaign". The form walks you through everything:

  • Title and description: name the campaign and use the description for requirements and instructions to affiliates. Be specific: who you are looking for, what good work looks like, and what gets rejected.
  • Campaign type: content or performance bonus.
  • Visibility: private (your affiliates only) or public (the whole network).
  • Eligible tiers: limit the campaign to specific affiliate tiers, or leave empty to open it to all tiers.
  • Bounty: the bonus amount, paid per approved submission.
  • Start and end date: campaigns are time-bound; the end date creates urgency and caps your budget exposure.

Vetting who can enroll

Auto-accept affiliates toggle and required connected platforms (Google Analytics, YouTube, LinkedIn) in the campaign form

Auto-accept affiliates: when enabled, affiliates who enroll are approved automatically without manual review. This works best for performance campaigns, since affiliates can only earn there by driving real referrals. For content campaigns we recommend keeping manual review on, so you choose who creates content about you.

Required connected platforms: require affiliates to connect Google Analytics (GA4), YouTube, or LinkedIn before they can enroll, so you can vet their audience before approving them.

Reviewing enrollments and submissions

The campaign flow after you publish it:

  1. The affiliate enrolls (private campaigns) or requests to join (public campaigns, if they are not in your program yet)
  2. You approve the enrollment, unless auto-accept is on
  3. The affiliate creates the content or works toward the milestone, then submits
  4. You review the submission against your campaign rules and approve it
  5. The bounty is paid per approved submission, alongside their regular commissions

Each campaign's detail view shows the full pipeline: enrolled, submitted, approved, and awaiting review, plus how many days the campaign has left.

What affiliates see

Affiliates have their own Campaigns view, with tabs for active campaigns, enrollment review, enrolled, and ended campaigns. Each card shows the bounty, the end date, and the guidelines. Public campaigns appear there for the entire network.

Tips for campaigns that work

  • Write guidelines like a brief: who you are looking for, what a good submission looks like, and what gets rejected. Affiliates deliver better work when the bar is explicit, and reviews go faster.
  • Match the bounty to the effort. Live campaigns on Reditus typically range from $10 for a small mention to $250 for a researched article or a referral milestone.

Tell new affiliates about your active campaigns in your automated onboarding emails, so every new affiliate starts with a concrete task and reward.

  • Keep it honest: reviews must reflect the affiliate's real experience, and community mentions should be disclosed. Reject submissions that read like unedited AI output.
