Tracking referrals with coupon codes
To track referrals using Stripe in Reditus, you need to create a unique coupon. The steps below cover the Stripe side and the Reditus side.
Do NOT use the promotion code (for example: DISCOUNT10) when tracking referrals in Reditus. The Coupon ID is essential for accurate tracking. See more information below as well.
Create the coupon in Stripe
- Go to the Sidebar in Stripe, click on Product Catalogue, and select Coupons.
- Create a new coupon.
- Choose a unique Coupon ID. This ID will be used for tracking purposes in Reditus (example: "greetings"). The rest of the fields in this step aren't required for tracking, so fill them in as you prefer.
- Once the coupon is created, go to the coupon's page and copy the Coupon ID (in this case, it's "greetings"). This Coupon ID is what Reditus needs to track referrals, so keep it handy.

Add the coupon to the affiliate in Reditus
- Go to the affiliate within Reditus you want to add the code for. Active affiliates: https://app.getreditus.net/saas/partners/active
- Click on the affiliate row you want to add the code for.
- Add the Coupon ID and the coupon code to the affiliate.
The Coupon ID is used for the tracking, so make sure that one is filled out and correct. The Coupon code will be showcased towards the affiliate (and yourself).
Do NOT purely use the promotion code (for example: DISCOUNT10) when tracking referrals in Reditus. The Coupon ID is essential for accurate tracking.
