How do automated payouts work at Reditus?

Reditus pays your affiliates for you. Automated payouts are on by default on every plan (Growth, Scale Up and Enterprise): each month you pay one overview, and we pay every affiliate in it.

How it works, month by month

1. Your affiliates earn commissions when the customers they referred pay you.
2. On the 1st of the month, Reditus creates the payouts from the previous month's commissions, per program, for every affiliate whose commissions passed your payout threshold.
3. We send you an overview of the payouts to be made. You see the same list in the app, on the pending payouts page.
4. We add up the total and put the payout fee on top: 5% when you pay by credit card, 2% when you pay by invoice.
5. We charge your credit card or send you an invoice.
6. Once we have received your payment, we pay your affiliates.

You have until the end of that month to pay. A payout you haven't paid by then turns overdue on the 1st of the following month, and your affiliates are not paid until you pay.

Why paying on time matters

Your affiliates are told they are paid before the end of the month. They refer to earn money: affiliates who don't get paid start complaining and stop referring you, and you lose credibility and affiliates. So pay your overview on time.

What your affiliates do

• They choose their payout method in their payment settings: PayPal, Wise or IBAN bank transfer (European bank accounts only). They can change it any time.
• An affiliate without a payout method can't be paid. We hold that payout and email the affiliate to add one.
• Affiliates pay Reditus no fee. Their payout method may charge its own fees, for example PayPal on a currency conversion.

Cash rewards for advocates

Do you pay cash rewards to advocates in your in-app referral program? They are paid out exactly like affiliate payouts. We can bundle both programs into one invoice, or send a separate invoice for each.

What it saves you

Paying affiliates yourself doesn't scale. With 70 affiliates a month, that is 70 payments from your bank account: someone has to send each one, your bookkeeper has to check each one, and each needs an invoice, while not every affiliate is a business that can send you one.

With automated payouts you pay one overview a month, by card or invoice, and we pay every affiliate. Your affiliates get paid on time every month once you have paid, and each one chooses the payout method that works for them. Yes, there is a fee, and it is small next to the time and money it saves you.

Can we pay our affiliates ourselves?

No. All new SaaS companies are on automated payouts and can't pay their affiliates directly. Questions about an existing arrangement? Ask us in the chat.
