How to see your performance as an affiliate
Your results as an affiliate move through five stages, in this order:
- Clicks
- Referral
- Commissions
- Payouts
- Receive a payout
Clicks
To generate a click you have to share your affiliate link with your network, on your site, in your newsletter, on social media, or any other way. You can find your affiliate links here.
Once you generate clicks, you will see them in your Active Affiliates overview here.
Referrals
Traffic you send to a SaaS company starts converting into signups, which are called referrals. You receive an email when a new referral is generated, and all referrals are listed on this page.
You will see either a masked version of their email, or the unique identifier the SaaS company sends us. When a referral starts paying a SaaS company, the state changes to "paid referral".
Commissions
A referral that started paying the SaaS company means you have earned a commission. All upcoming commissions sit in the payouts tab here, and every commission generated in the month is shown there.
Payouts
Payouts are generated on the 1st of the month. Everything in the upcoming commissions tab moves over to the pending payouts tab.
To receive the payout, you need to reach the threshold set by the SaaS company. All SaaS companies pay you out directly, which means you pass each threshold separately.
You can find the threshold on the tile in the SaaS marketplace, in the upper right corner, or on the SaaS company's landing page.
When logged in, you can also find it by clicking on the partnership row in My active partnerships. That view shows other information as well:
- Website of the SaaS
- Contact email
- Terms of service
- Cookie period
- Branding resources
Receive a payout
Reaching the threshold makes you eligible to receive a payout. See here for more depth on how payouts work. In short:
- Add your payment details here.
- Wait for the payment to come in.
The SaaS company has until the end of the month to pay you out.
