Inviting affiliates to your program

Your own network is the best place to find your first affiliates. People who already know your product, such as your users, your customers, and the agencies, consultants and partners you work with, need little guidance to recommend you. Strangers first have to find you and understand what you do, and that takes much longer.

Invite them in your first week, once your program is set up and the technical installation is done, so every click and signup they bring is tracked. Send your users to your in-app referral program, and invite agencies, consultants and partners to your affiliate program.

You can do all of this during the 14-day free trial: set up your affiliate program and your in-app referral program, and invite your own affiliates. Everything related to the Reditus network, such as a marketplace listing and the vetted affiliate database, needs Scale Up or Enterprise.

Four ways to invite affiliates

  1. Send your auto-approve invite link. Whoever joins through it is accepted automatically, even if auto-accept is off for your program.
  2. Share your program's landing page, so affiliates can read about your program before they join.
  3. Link to your signup page, for affiliates who are ready to join.
  4. Receive requests through the Reditus marketplace, once your program is listed.

1. Invite affiliates with your auto-approve link

Use your own email system to reach your customers and partners. You find your auto-approve link under Affiliates > Invite affiliates. Everyone who joins through it is accepted straight away, even with auto-accept off, so you can let your own users and network in while you still review everyone else.

Use this when:

  • you invite your users or network contacts from your own email system
  • you want them in without a manual review

Need words for the email? Use the affiliate recruitment email templates.

2. Send affiliates to your landing page

Every program has a landing page that shows affiliates your commission, what is and isn't allowed (including your paid-ads policy) and a commission calculator. It exists from the day you sign up, it's live during your free trial too, and it's the link to share when people want to read more before they join. Your landing page lives at:

app.getreditus.com/marketplace/your_company_name

If your company name has spaces, replace them with underscores: "Your Company" becomes app.getreditus.com/marketplace/your_company. See ours as an example: the Reditus affiliate program landing page.

Use this when:

  • you want affiliates to learn about your program before they apply
  • you want to review each request yourself (with auto-accept off)

3. Send affiliates to your signup page

Your program also has its own signup page. Find it by clicking "Apply now" on your landing page, or go straight to:

app.getreditus.com/affiliate/sign_up/your_company_name

Use this when:

  • affiliates already know your program and are ready to join
  • you want to review each application yourself (with auto-accept off)

4. Receive requests through the Reditus marketplace

When your program is listed in the marketplace, affiliates from the Reditus network find you and send requests. A listing needs an annual Scale Up or Enterprise plan and a completed technical installation: how to get listed. Run it next to your own invites, not instead of them, because the people who know you are the quickest to start.

How to handle the requests that come in: affiliate requests.

Once your own network is in, the next step is affiliates who don't know you yet, starting with the sites that already recommend your competitors: how to recruit SaaS affiliates.
