How to notify affiliates after migrating to Reditus (with email templates)

You've moved your affiliate program to Reditus. Now your affiliates need to hear about it, and this article gives you the emails to send them.

The good news for your affiliates: they keep their links. Reditus imported their existing links and took over tracking them once your Reditus tracking was installed, so everything they have published keeps tracking. Their accounts already exist, with their referrals and commissions migrated. All they need to do is reset their password, or log in with Google if their Google account uses the same email.

What happened during the migration

  • Reditus created an account for every affiliate, with their existing link. Affiliates who already had a Reditus account got your program added to that account.
  • Their existing links keep working, so they don't have to change anything. Almost every format carries over as it is, FirstPromoter's ?fpr= and Rewardful's ?via= included. If your old links used a rare format that can't be tracked directly, Reditus set up a workaround with you during the migration.
  • Their referrals, paid referrals and pending commissions were imported.
  • Every affiliate also has a Reditus link: your website address plus ?red= and their slug. They find it in their dashboard and can use it for anything new. Their old link keeps working too.

Step 1: export your affiliate list

To personalize your emails, export your affiliates first:

  1. Log in to Reditus.
  2. Go to Affiliates > Active affiliates.
  3. Use the export option above the table to download a CSV file. It contains everything you see in the affiliate table.

Step 2: send the announcement

Once the migration is complete, send the templates below, in bulk or one by one. Every email has one job: get the affiliate to reset their password, so they can log in and see their data. They do that at app.getreditus.com/forgot-password, with the email address you migrated them with. Affiliates whose Google account uses that same email address can also log in with Google.

Template 1a: the announcement

Subject: We've moved! Your affiliate account is now on Reditus

Hi [Affiliate name],

We've moved our affiliate program to Reditus, a platform built for B2B SaaS affiliate programs. What that means for you:

  • Your account is already set up.
  • Your current affiliate link keeps working, so you don't have to change anything you've published.
  • Your referrals and commissions have been migrated.

To log in, reset your password with this email address, or log in with Google if your Google account uses it. You'll find your link, your referrals and your earnings in your dashboard.

Let us know if we can help you promote [Company name].

Template 1b: the announcement, with their Reditus link

Subject: We've moved! Your affiliate account is now on Reditus

Hi [Affiliate name],

Thanks for being an affiliate of [Company name]. We've moved our affiliate program to Reditus, a platform with its own network of B2B SaaS affiliates. They did most of the work for you:

  • Your account is already set up.
  • Your current affiliate link keeps working.
  • Your referrals, including the paid ones, have been migrated.

So there's no downtime. You also have a Reditus link now: [your Reditus link]. Both links work.

Want to create links with a sub ID, so you can see which of your channels brings in referrals? Reset your password with this email address to log in.

Template 2: a reminder for affiliates who haven't logged in yet

Subject: Don't forget to activate your Reditus affiliate account

Hi [Affiliate name],

A quick reminder: we've moved our affiliate program to Reditus. Your account is ready, and you only need to reset your password to log in. Your current link keeps working.

Once you're in, you'll find:

  • your links, including your Reditus link
  • sub IDs, to see which of your channels performs best
  • your referrals, commissions and payout status

Please also add your payout method in your payment settings: PayPal, Wise or bank transfer (to a European bank account). Without one, your commissions can't be paid out.

Need help? Just reply to this email.

Template 3: sub IDs, for affiliates who have logged in

Subject: See which of your channels brings in referrals

Hi [Affiliate name],

Now that our program runs on Reditus, you can see exactly what works for you:

  • Create links with a sub ID, one per channel or campaign, under Links.
  • Track clicks and referrals per sub ID.
  • See the results in the sub ID report.

No access yet? Reset your password to log in.

Thanks for growing with us,

The [Company name] team

Template 4: affiliates who already have a Reditus account

Affiliates who already use Reditus for other programs don't get a new account: your program is added to the account they have. They log in as usual, so leave out the password reset.

Subject: [Company name] is now on Reditus, in your existing account

Hi [Affiliate name],

Good news: we've moved our affiliate program to Reditus, which you already use. You'll find [Company name] in your Reditus dashboard next to your other programs, with your referrals and commissions migrated. Your current affiliate link keeps working, so there's nothing to change.

Just log in as usual.

Template 5: inactive affiliates you didn't migrate

Many companies use the migration to leave inactive affiliates behind. If you did, this email gives them the option to come along.

Hi [Affiliate name],

A quick update about our affiliate program. We've moved it to a new platform, Reditus, and we decided not to move accounts that haven't been active for a while. We didn't want to create accounts for affiliates who may no longer be interested in promoting us.

If you'd still like to promote [Company name], we'd be happy to set you up. Just reply "Yes" and we'll take care of the rest.

If now isn't the right time, you don't need to do anything.

Thanks for the time you've spent with us,

[Your name]

Template 6: a follow-up for inactive affiliates

Hi [Affiliate name],

A quick follow-up. We didn't move inactive affiliate accounts to our new platform by default. We're reaching out once more because [Company name] has grown: [one line on what's new, such as a new feature or a new customer group].

Our program pays [X]% for [X] months. Ten paying customers at [average price] per month earn you [amount] (10 × [average price] × [X]% × [X] months).

If you'd like to keep recommending [Company name], reply "Yes" and we'll set you up. If not, no action needed.

Thanks,

[Your name]

What affiliates need to do, in one minute

Add this to your emails or your affiliate documentation:

  1. Go to app.getreditus.com/forgot-password.
  2. Enter the email address you're registered with as an affiliate.
  3. Open the reset email and set a new password.
  4. Log in. Your links, referrals and commissions are in your dashboard.
  5. Add a payout method in your payment settings: PayPal, Wise or bank transfer (European bank accounts only). Without one, your commissions can't be paid out.

Is their Google account on the same email address? Then they can skip the reset and log in with Google.

If the reset email doesn't arrive, check the spam folder first. Still nothing? Contact Reditus support in the chat.

Frequently asked questions

Do affiliates have to change their links after the migration?

No. Reditus imports their existing links and takes over tracking them once your Reditus tracking is installed, so everything they have published keeps tracking. Almost every format carries over as it is, FirstPromoter's ?fpr= and Rewardful's ?via= links included. For the rare format that can't be tracked directly, Reditus sets up a workaround with you during the migration.

Do affiliates need to create a new account?

No. Reditus creates their accounts during the migration, and they only reset their password to log in, or log in with Google if their Google account uses the same email. Affiliates who already have a Reditus account get your program added to the account they have, and see their migrated data there.

Where do affiliates reset their password?

At app.getreditus.com/forgot-password, with the email address they are registered with. If the reset email doesn't arrive, they check their spam folder first, and then contact Reditus support in the chat.
