Migrate Your SaaS Affiliate Program to Reditus in 5 Steps
Moving your affiliate program to Reditus is free on every plan, from any tool: FirstPromoter, Rewardful, Tolt, PartnerStack, PromoteKit, Impact, Awin, or a program you built yourself. We migrate you quickly, without cost or effort on your side. We do the exports, the imports and the link takeover. Your part is small: you share access to your current program, install Reditus tracking, and approve what we migrate. Your affiliates keep their links.

How long it takes
The data work takes about one day: access, exports, an import sheet, a review call with you, and the import. After that, both systems run side by side for the cookie window of your old program, typically 30 days and sometimes 60. That overlap is needed because a click made before your Reditus tracking was installed can only be captured by the old program. Most referred signups happen within a day of the click and nearly all within seven days, so differences between the two systems fade fast.
The 5 steps
Step 1: Intro call and access to your current program
- On a short call we look at your current setup and plan the migration with you.
- You share the login of your current affiliate program, so we can log in on your behalf and run the exports.
Step 2: Exports, clean-up and your approval
- We export all your affiliates with their current links, referrals, paid referrals and commissions.
- We turn the export into an import sheet and go through it with you on a call. You approve what we may migrate, or give feedback.
- Long list with many inactive affiliates? Some companies use the move to clean up. On request we leave inactive affiliates out, always in consultation with you.
Step 3: Affiliate accounts, your tracking and the link takeover
- We create the affiliate accounts on your affiliates' behalf, each with their existing link. Affiliates who already have a Reditus account simply get your program added.
- You install Reditus tracking: the tracking script and the signup snippet. A typical technical installation takes under 30 minutes. Test it with a signup on every signup path you offer, for example email and password, and Google. See the full installation guide.
- Once the accounts exist and your tracking is installed, we take over the tracking of your affiliates' existing links. From then on those links track in Reditus, and your affiliates keep going without changing a thing.
Step 4: Imports, open payouts and the cutover
- We import your referrals, paid referrals and pending commissions, so future payments on those referrals create commissions in Reditus.
- Open payouts: you clear what is still open in your old tool, then Reditus takes over. Outstanding payouts can also be migrated. We double-check this every time.
- You connect Stripe at the start of a month, or start sending payments through the Payments API from that date. That date is the cutover: from then on Reditus creates the commissions, earlier months are carried over, and anything already paid in the old tool is marked as paid. A manual check catches the edge cases, so no commission is paid twice.
Step 5: Tell your affiliates and monitor both systems
- You tell your affiliates that the program has moved; our email templates for the announcement help. They log in by resetting their password, or with Google if their Google account uses the same email, and see all the data that was migrated.
- Once their data is in, affiliates get emails about new referrals and commissions, so they see activity right away.
- Both systems are monitored for the length of your old program's cookie window.
Once the migration runs, your part is mostly to monitor and approve.
Your affiliates keep their links
We import your affiliates' existing links and take over their tracking, so the content they already published keeps tracking. Almost every link format carries over as it is, such as FirstPromoter's ?fpr= and Rewardful's ?via=, so your affiliates don't have to change anything. For the rare format that can't be tracked directly, we set up a workaround with you during the migration. New links on Reditus are your website address followed by ?red= and the affiliate's slug.
What it costs
Nothing. Migration is free on every plan, Growth billed monthly included, and there is no paid migration add-on. You pay your Reditus plan as usual.
After the move, Reditus runs your affiliate payouts. Automated payouts are on every plan, with a payout fee of 5% when you pay by card or 2% when you pay by invoice, added on top of the commissions. Your affiliates pay Reditus nothing and choose their own payout method: PayPal, Wise or IBAN bank transfer (European bank accounts only). We usually suggest lowering your payout threshold so affiliates are paid after two to three commissions; it costs you no extra work, because Reditus does the payouts.
What happens after the migration
A migration doesn't have to cost you affiliate activity. Three things work in your favor:
- affiliates keep their links, so their content keeps tracking;
- Reditus pays them on a fixed monthly cycle with more payout methods, where payouts in an old program were often late;
- affiliates see every program they are in on one dashboard, instead of a separate portal per program.
With a marketplace listing (Scale Up or Enterprise on an annual commitment, plus a completed installation) you also start receiving applications from affiliates in the Reditus network of 28,000+ B2B SaaS affiliates, instead of only the affiliates you recruit yourself. SEO Space moved off Rewardful and went from a flat program to active growth in 90 days, purely from network visibility.
Why companies move to Reditus
Most teams that migrate already went from zero to one: the program works, but it plateaued because their own network ran dry. What they come for:
- The network: the Reditus network of 28,000+ B2B SaaS affiliates, the vetted affiliate database and the Affiliate Finder.
- Proof that it works: others migrated and scaled.
- Payouts: no more manual payouts and no more tax-compliance worries.
Results from companies that migrated:
- Expandi has generated $2M+ in affiliate revenue via Reditus and grown to 1,700+ affiliates since migrating from FirstPromoter. Read the Expandi story.
- Insightful tripled its monthly affiliate revenue, from about $8K to $20K+, in under 18 months after migrating from Rewardful, and grew to 1,000+ affiliates without adding headcount. Read the Insightful story.
- involve.me grew its affiliate program 6x, from about 40 to 240 affiliates, after a zero-downtime migration from Rewardful. Read the involve.me story.
10+ companies migrated from FirstPromoter to Reditus in the last year, and we regularly migrate programs with 1,000+ affiliates.
When not to migrate (yet)
- You're happy where you are. If you only ever want your own affiliates and your current tool connects natively with your payment processor, staying put can be the right call.
- Your program never grew. Migrating will not fix a program that has not worked yet. Grow it first with your own users and network; Growth is built for that.
- You're not a B2B SaaS. Reditus is built for B2B SaaS. Agencies and consultants join Reditus as affiliates, not as customers.

FAQ: migrating your affiliate program
Will my affiliates' existing links still work?
Yes. We import them and take over their tracking once your Reditus tracking is installed, so your affiliates don't have to change anything. Almost every format carries over as it is, FirstPromoter's ?fpr= and Rewardful's ?via= links included. For the rare format that can't be tracked directly, we set up a workaround with you during the migration.
How long does the migration take?
About one day of data work. Then both systems run side by side for your old program's cookie window: typically 30 days, sometimes 60.
Do my affiliates have to sign up again?
No. We create their accounts with their links and referrals attached. They only reset their password, or log in with Google if it's the same email, and then they see all the data that was migrated. Affiliates who already have a Reditus account just get your program added.
What data do you migrate?
Your affiliates with their current links, and their referrals, paid referrals and commissions, including pending commissions. Outstanding payouts can be migrated as well.
What do I need to do on the technical side?
Install the tracking script and the signup snippet, and connect your payments: Stripe at the start of a month, or the Payments API for any other processor. See run your affiliate program with any payment processor.
Can we run our old tool and Reditus side by side for a while?
Every migration has the overlap for your old cookie window. Beyond that, running two platforms is not a hard no: some customers run Reditus next to their current tool for a while to compare. It is not ideal, and you need to watch for duplicate referrals between the two.
Is the migration really free?
Yes, on every plan and from any tool. There is no paid migration add-on.
Can we migrate during the free trial?
Yes. It is not the usual order, because most companies decide to migrate and then choose a paid plan, but a migration can be done during your 14-day free trial.
What should we plan for after the move?
Two questions we ask every migrating customer: how much time per week will you spend on recruiting affiliates, and what will you pay affiliates upfront? Recruiting good affiliates is rarely pure revenue share anymore. Campaigns let you pay affiliates for content on top of their commission.
