First: should you actually move?

Tolt is a clean, fast way to launch an affiliate program, with a branded portal on your own domain and a setup measured in minutes. For an early program run with your own network, it does exactly what it needs to.

The other case where we tell people not to migrate: if your program never really got going. Changing tools does not fix a program that has not worked yet. If almost nobody is promoting you, the problem is usually the offer, the audience fit, or the fact that nobody has been asked. Fix that first, on whatever tool you are already paying for.

Migration makes sense when the program works and has stalled: you went from zero to one, you know the channel converts, and you have simply run out of people in your own network to ask.

Why teams move from Tolt

Recruitment is entirely manual

Tolt has no affiliate network and no discovery, so every affiliate is one you found and convinced yourself. That works until your own audience is exhausted.

You want one platform, not two

Adding an in-app referral program usually means a second tool and a second bill. Reditus runs affiliate programs, in-app referrals, and the network together.

Payout admin grows with the program

Automated payouts, thresholds, fraud detection, and affiliate support all come as standard, so program growth does not translate directly into more admin.

How the migration works

The data migration takes about a day. We do the work.

1

We export your current program

You give the team access to your current platform. We export affiliates, their links, and their referrals, then prepare an import sheet for you to review.

2

You approve the import

We walk through the sheet with you on a call so you can correct anything before it goes live. Nothing is imported until you are happy with it.

3

We import and take over tracking

Affiliates keep their existing links, referrals come across, and Reditus starts generating commissions on new payments. This part takes about a day.

4

You tell your affiliates

We provide email templates. Accounts are already created with links and referrals attached, so affiliates just reset a password and see their data.

The part nobody explains: the overlap window

Clicks that happened before the import were never cookied by Reditus, so a few referrals can still surface in your old platform afterwards. Both systems stay live for the length of your cookie window, usually 30 days and sometimes 60. In practice the overlap shrinks fast: most referred signups happen within a day of the click and nearly all within a week, so mismatches taper off almost immediately. Payouts are checked as part of the migration so nothing falls between the two systems.

What to plan for after you move

Two questions worth answering before you migrate, because almost nobody asks them and they decide how fast the channel grows.

How much time will you spend on recruitment each week? The network and AI discovery bring volume and show you who already promotes your competitors or ranks for your keywords. Turning that into active affiliates is still deliberate work, and the teams who block time for it grow noticeably faster.

What will you pay affiliates upfront? Recruiting quality affiliates is not purely revenue share any more. Getting listed in a serious comparison article or review usually means paying something upfront for the work, which is what campaigns are for. Decide your budget before you need it.

Frequently asked questions

Can we keep our affiliate portal branding?

Reditus gives you a branded affiliate landing page and sign-up experience. The trade-off is different: instead of a fully isolated portal, your program can also be discovered by affiliates already in the network. If a completely custom portal matters more to you than reach, Tolt may still be the better fit.

Do affiliates have to change their links?

No. Existing affiliate links are carried over during the migration and Reditus takes over tracking them, so anything already published keeps working. Affiliates do not need to update a single link.

How long does the migration itself take?

The data migration is about a day: we get access to your current platform, export everything, prepare an import sheet, walk through it with you on a call, then import. Affiliates, their links, and their referrals all come across.

Why do both systems need to run for a while?

Clicks that happened before the import were never cookied by Reditus, so referrals from those clicks can still land in your old system. Both run in parallel for the length of your cookie window, typically 30 days and sometimes 60. The mismatch shrinks quickly, because most referred signups happen within a day and nearly all within a week.

What happens to commissions we already owe affiliates?

We check your pending payouts as part of the migration. Usually the cleanest path is to pay out everything currently open in your old platform, then Reditus takes over from that point. Outstanding payouts can also be migrated across. We handle it in one pass so nothing falls between the two systems.

What does it cost?

Migration is free and white-glove: the team does the export, mapping, and import for you. You run Reditus from $99 per month, and there is a 14-day free trial if you want to see the platform before committing.
