Tell your affiliates in the right order, with the templates
After this lesson you can
Announce from your own brand first, then trigger the password reset, expect activity to rise rather than fall, and answer the one question they will all ask: payouts.
Tell your affiliates in the right order, with the templates

The order in which your affiliates hear about the move matters more than the wording. Get the order right and the templates in the help centre do the rest.
Your brand first
Would you use the tool you are leaving to announce that you are leaving it? The first message an affiliate reads about the move should come from you, from your own email address, before either platform sends anything. It is your program and your relationship. The platform is a detail.
That first email says four things: what is changing (the platform), what is not changing (their links, their rate, their referrals), what happens to open commissions and when the first payout from the new platform lands, and where they log in from now on. Keep it to those four. The payout paragraph is the one they will read twice.
Then the platform
After your email, the password reset goes out. Accounts are pre-created with their links and referrals attached, so all an affiliate does is set a password and log in to a dashboard that already shows their history. Affiliates who are already in the Reditus network do not even do that: the partnership is simply created and your program appears next to the others they promote.
Expect activity to rise, not fall
The unspoken fear in every migration is that affiliates go quiet. What we see is the opposite, for three reasons that are worth putting in your announcement.
- Their links keep tracking, so content that is already out there keeps earning without them lifting a finger.
- Payouts in the previous program were often late. From now on they are paid on schedule, with more payment options than PayPal alone.
- One dashboard. In a single-program portal an affiliate had little reason to log in. Here they see every program they promote in one place, and yours is one of them.
The templates
The notification sequence with the email templates lives in the help centre, linked below. Adapt the details, keep the order.
Key takeaways
- The first message comes from your brand, before either platform sends anything.
- Four things in that email: what changes, what does not, what happens to open commissions and payouts, where to log in.
- Then the password reset. Affiliates already in the network skip signup entirely.
- Tell them what gets better for them: links keep tracking, payouts arrive on time, one dashboard for every program. Say the mechanism, never a promise.
The detail lives in the help centre
This lesson tells you the order and the judgement. The clicks are in the articles below. Open one, do the step, and you will find a way back to this lesson at the top of the article.

Templates: copy and adapt
Ready-made text and settings. Adapt, do not invent.
Do this before the next lesson
Each step says how much counts as done. Doing a third of it and moving on is how programs stall.
Questions we hear at this point
What is the one question affiliates ask after a migration?
Payouts. What happens to commissions they had earned but not yet been paid, and when the first payout from the new platform arrives. Answer it in your first email, before they ask.
