Integration Effort: How Long Does It Take to Set Up Reditus?

A typical technical installation takes under 30 minutes. The full setup, with your program settings and the in-app referral widget, takes 30 to 60 minutes; an affiliate-only setup takes about 15 to 20 minutes. Not on Stripe? Sending your payments through the Payments API takes about four hours of developer time, depending on your processor.

What the setup involves

1. The tracking script: a small script in the header of your main domain and of every subdomain in your funnel, much like adding Google Analytics. Google Tag Manager works. See installing the tracking script.
2. The signup snippet: one line in your code that fires once when a new account is created. For a demo-led funnel this step can be your demo booking: Calendly embedded on your own site. See installing the signup snippet.
3. Payment data: connect Stripe natively, or send your payments through the Payments API.
4. Program settings: your commission (the percentage and for how many months), payout threshold, cookie window and program terms. All of it happens in the dashboard, without code.
5. The in-app referral widget (optional): add the Reditus widget to your product, or build your own interface on the API. We recommend launching both programs together: your users go into the in-app referral program, and the agencies, consultants and partners who recommend you go into the affiliate program. Do you need a developer?

For the signup snippet, yes: it goes into your code. The tracking script can be added by anyone with access to your site's header or to Google Tag Manager. The Stripe connection and the program settings need no code. The Payments API, if you need it, is developer work on your side.

The step people forget

If your site has both a demo booking and a signup form, track both. Connecting Calendly for demo bookings doesn't track signups through your form, and that is the most common setup mistake we see. Install the signup snippet as well and check it with a test signup.

If you don't use Stripe

Stripe is the only native connection. Paddle, Chargebee, Lemon Squeezy, PayPal and any other processor send payment data through the Payments API: you forward your payments with the customer's email or your own unique ID, and Reditus matches them to referrals and calculates the commissions.
